Hi everyone,
Finally, the pathology results we were waiting for so much came out. It was confirmed that what I have is a Diffuse B Cell Lymphoma, rich in T Cells and Histocytes.
Already with this result, the Drs, agree that the protocol to follow includes a series of chemotherapies “R-ICE” (Chemo rescue), which can be between 3 and 6 (every 21 days) followed by a bone marrow transplant, which I must do once I have confirmed that I no longer have lymphoma.
We will start with the chemo this Monday. They are chemo of long breath so I have to go to the clinic a couple of days and then rest a few days at home and then resume my normal life until the second session.
As always, although we know that they will be a bit heavy days, we are looking forward to starting. Nothing will stop us until we are 100% cured. We have about 3 to 5 more months of battle left and that this bug be grabbed because it is going to go wrong. We are going to give him very hard!
As I always ask you, keep praying and paddling that here Blanca and I are not alone. They don’t imagine how their encouragement comments help us and give us strength to continue. Keep writing to us and share as many people may be going through a similar situation and together we can help each other.
